Parliament/MPs
Helping MPs navigate their responsibilities
The learning curve for MPs is steep. The role comes with an avalanche of responsibilities, unwritten rules and unspoken expectations. There is no job description.
Our programs for new and existing MPs support them to make sense of their responsibilities, and provide them with resources to help them succeed in key dimensions of their role. These programs complement existing parliamentary onboarding and training.

Programs
We offer both whole-of-parliament and new-MP induction programs. Currently these are delivered on request, on a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction basis.
These programs draw upon the intellectual property generated via our flagship program, Advanced Political Leadership. They equip MPs to understand and balance their diverse roles as parliamentarians, local members, party representatives, and leaders of a team.
Modules delivered to date have covered topics including negotiation and collaboration, setting up an electorate office, the first speech and personal resilience.
